Wabi Sabi Philosophy

Our massage therapy practice incorporates the Japanese philosophies of Wabi Sabi and Kintsugi, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection, impermanence, and resilience.  Just as Wabi Sabi embraces asymmetry and imperfection, we honor each person's unique journey towards healing. 

Inspired by Kintsugi, we view trauma as an opportunity for growth and transformation, recognizing that the scars of our past contribute to our beauty and resilience.  

Through mindfulness and acceptance of the present moment, we encourage embracing our inherent strength and capacity for healing, fostering a deeper connection to ourselves and our journey to wellness.
