ZERO TOLERANCE

Our business is committed to providing a safe and professional environment for both our clients and our staff. We maintain a strict zero tolerance policy for any form of inappropriate behavior.  Any form of sexual advances or harassment is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of service, without refund. Additionally, such behavior may lead to a permanent ban from our establishment/services.  We prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of everyone in our practice.

Client Health & Hygiene Policy

At Wabi Sabi Massage & Wellness, we prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of our clients. To maintain a clean and hygienic environment and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, we have implemented the following policies:


1. Hygiene Standards:

  • Clients are kindly requested to arrive for their appointment in a clean and presentable condition.
  • We ask that clients refrain from wearing strong perfumes or scents to their appointments, as this can interfere with the experience of other clients and therapists.
  • Our massage therapists adhere to strict hygiene protocols, including thorough hand washing before and after each session, and the use of clean linens and equipment for every client.


2. Health Considerations:

  • Prior to booking a massage appointment, clients are encouraged to consult with their healthcare provider to ensure that massage therapy is appropriate for their individual health needs.
  • Clients are responsible for informing their massage therapist of any medical conditions, injuries, or medications they are currently taking that may affect their ability to receive massage therapy.  
  • By booking an appointment, client acknowledges that massage is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • If a client is experiencing symptoms of illness, such as fever, cough, or sore throat, we kindly request that they reschedule their appointment for a later date to prevent the spread of illness or infection to others.


3. Contraindications to Massage:

  • Certain medical conditions or medications may be contraindications to massage therapy. It is the client's responsibility to consult with their doctor beforehand and disclose any relevant information to their massage therapist prior to their session.
  • If a massage therapist determines that a client's health condition or medication poses a risk for receiving massage therapy, they reserve the right to refuse treatment or modify the session accordingly for the safety of the client.

Cancellation policy

At Wabi Sabi Massage & Wellness, we understand that life can be unpredictable. To ensure we provide the best service to all our clients, we kindly ask that you honor the following policies:


24-Hour Cancellation Notice: If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours advance notice. This allows us to offer this time to another client.  If less than 24 hours notice is given, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment, which must be paid before your next session. 


No-Shows: If you miss your appointment without notice, you will be charged for the full amount of the session.  This must be settled before your next appointment.  Any credits on your account will be adjusted for the missed session.


Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate the next client. Regardless of the length of treatment received, you will be responsible for the full session.

pet policy

There may be times when our Assistant Regional Manager (Missy - found on our "About" page) will be present in the space.  She will be locked away in her "office" 6ft+ from the massage table during sessions. 


*Please note* Missy is never allowed on the massage table.
